Hi, I’m Lucy Kirkman…
In a world that’s increasingly digital and ‘always on’, we’ve traded the joy of creating for a relentless cycle of whack-a-mole tasks.
I’ve spent 30 years in the design world (I’m a magazine designer and print geek at heart) and if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that your best work (and your best self) doesn't live behind a screen. It lives in the space where you’re allowed to breathe, get creative, and reconnect with what makes your magic unmistakable.
My mission is to bridge that gap through Creative Connection. Whether I’m working with a founder to build a brand that allows them to share their magic with the world , hosting a hands-on workshop to help individuals reclaim their creative spark, or helping a team take a purposeful pause, the goal is the same: to provide the structural integrity your creativity needs to thrive.
I’m here to help people make space for creativity.
It’s about moving away from the noise and toward a brand, a practice, or a culture that finally feels like you. No jargon, judgement, just large sheets of paper and a mission to help you share your magic with the world.
FAQs
-
I help people feel more connected through their creativity:
For founders, makers and experts who ARE their business and want to share their magic with the world.
For individuals and curious crafters who want to get off-screen and rediscover the joy of making.
For Teams and groups who want to swap screen time for creative wellbeing and connection.

I believe that success and happiness come more naturally when you show up as who you truly are (but not in a crappy meme kind of way). Modern day life is a LOT and we’ve spent too long trying to fit into ‘shoulds’ and digital templates that don't fit. My approach is about stripping away the noise to reconnect with the magic that’s already there. It’s about building a brand, a practice, or a culture that has real structural and creative integrity.

What clients say:
“I have worked with RMG on a diverse range of projects. She is a delight to work with and always brings fresh ideas. Lucy’s ability to accurately interpret a brief is invaluable. She is generous in the range of concepts she puts forward and always willing to try new suggestions. Lucy’s collaborative approach, high quality of work and attention to detail are consistent regardless of the size of the project. I have no hesitation in recommending Lucy.”
CATHERINE MARTIN COMMUNICATIONS
“Working with Lucy was a great decision for us. From day one, Lucy listened, and very quickly understood us, our company culture and future goals. She has been fundamental in successfully building our brand. Lucy is both analytical and naturally creative, and working with her is an extremely positive experience.”
BOWER WILLIS DESIGNS
“Contacting Lucy at RMG Creative has been an excellent decision for us as a company. From our very first telephone call, Lucy really ‘got’ where we were coming from as independent family funeral directors. She understands for us how important it is that our brand and marketing is sensitive and has the right ‘tone’. Lucy takes initial ideas, thoughts, information and created content for our website, blogs, social media templates and brochures that very much reflect ‘our voice’ and style.
Her knowledge has enabled us to maximise advertising opportunities to ensure they have the most impact possible. She is so friendly and easy to work with, her creativeness, and high standards have created our new ‘look’ and website which often receive compliments from our clients. We would thoroughly recommend using the expertise and creative talents of RMG Creative to support and enhance your business.”
R LOCKE & SON
“For the first few years of running our architectural practice I was managing the advertising and marketing by myself, and I felt no one really understood my needs or what I wanted to achieve. Upon my first meeting with Lucy, I instantly felt this problem had been resolved. Lucy is always keen to research and understand issues unique to architecture, so we can work collaboratively to promote Stolwood Architects. I would not hesitate in recommending her to work alongside any business - big or small.”
STOLWOOD ARCHITECTS
“The branding workshops were brilliantly presented by Lucy. The content was very well structured and has helped us make significant changes to the way our business is run and marketed. I would recommend these workshops to any business, regardless of size, as the themes and messages apply to us all.”
PETER DEANS , JPD SERVICES
“Having worked with local and global creative, branding and marketing agencies all over the world over more than 20 years, I was confident that I knew what I wanted. The difficulty was finding that right outfit who could use my brand assets and deploy them on items such as business cards and my company website. RMG Creative approached our collaboration with exceptional proactivity, professionalism and punctuality. I felt guided, supported and heard at all times. The results speak for themselves. 100% satisfaction, and that’s from a position of high expectations. Thank you Lucy and RMG Creative.”
IVENTUM UK
“Lucy's knowledge and skills were invaluable in helping us re-design and launch our website. She understood our company from the get go and we couldn't be happier with the end result.”
JWS COTSWOLDS
“I loved Lucy’s approach to getting from the blank sheet of paper to logo and visual identity design and then onto building my website. For me it was the right amount of rigour and structure to make sure we progressed quickly, while supporting the creativity and suitability for my target market. Lucy is highly creative but also has a broader marketing perspective and so ensures her work has impact in the context in which it’s used. She gave me lots of options and control over choices and was generally great to work with.”
CATHY BOURNE CONSULTING
“Working with Lucy was a joy. From our first meeting she took the time to really understand me, my business and what I wanted to achieve. She guided me to make sure my aspirations were realised – and bettered! The whole process was extremely positive with a fast turnaround, plenty of aftercare and great value for money. Highly recommend!”
